INNIO Jenbacher Training Center started working in Tyumen

On January 10, 2022, the first INNIO Jenbacher training center in Russia started working. The infrastructure of our company in Tyumen is used for training. The first students of the INNIO Jenbacher Training Center were employees of the EnergoTechService Service Department and INNIO partner companies from Russia and Belarus.

The educational programs started with the training courses "Maintenance and repair of INNIO Jenbacher Type 6 Gas Engines" (MR6, January 10-14, 2022). The trainer is Martin Mader, certified employee of the INNIO Jenbacher Educational Center from Jenbach (Austria). According to the curricula, the theoretical part of the training takes place on the territory of the EnergoTechService office in the Nobel Park business center (Tyumen, Permyakova str., 1, bld 5), the practical part - at the Tyumen Power Equipment Plant (TSEO - Tyumen region, Borovsky village, Yuzhny settlement, bld 8). 10 service engineers take part in the training.

A separate section has been allocated for practicing practical skills at the EnergoTechService plant. Jenbacher Type 6 training gas engines are installed here: J612 and J624. For the new training programs, a Jenbacher Type 3 (J316) gas unit will appear in the classroom, as well as a sector for demonstrating the operation of the DIA.NE XT4 engine control system. It will help the operating and service personnel to learn how to analyze the characteristics of the engine, adjust the parameters of its operation, track and decipher errors.

EnergoTechService equipped the practical training class with measuring instruments, standard and special tools. Students have at their disposal more than 100 items of spare parts, devices and tools used in engine maintenance and repair. Additional advantages for students is the opportunity to observe firsthand the processes of packaging modular gas power stations at the EnergoTechService plant and testing them under load.

The administration of the training center announced the preparation of a total of 7 educational programs in 2022: 3 courses for operators and 4 for service personnel. The average duration of the course is 4 days. The longest is the basic Jenbacher engine maintenance course for service specialists, which takes place within 7.5 days. All courses are conducted in small groups. The number of students in the group is from 6 to 8 people. The main language is English, but interpreters will be provided for groups of students with a low level of English.

"Previously, technical specialists were trained at the training center at the Jenbacher plant in Austria," says Sergey Sukhanov, Director of Service at INNIO Jenbacher in Russia and CIS countries. Difficulties with crossing borders due to the epidemiological situation forced INNIO management to think about opening training centers in other countries. "On the basis of the new training center in Tyumen, technical specialists from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and other neighboring countries will be trained," Sergey Sukhanov added.

According to Valery Svergin, Deputy Director for Commerce of EnergoTechService, the TZEO is being systematically transformed from a regional assembly production into a technological hub of an all-Russian scale. "Today, the EnergoTechService plant is a unique enterprise that produces power plants and other energy equipment with a high degree of localization, conducts large—node engine repairs, acts as a major logistics and distribution center, and since the beginning of 2022 conducts professional training of operators and service specialists for manufactured equipment," said Valery Svergin.
